The project objectives included an upgrade to the flood hazard mapping areas to a sufficiently high level of detail to meet professional practice standards for use in regulations (bylaws) and mitigation planning. Another project objective was to complete steep creek hazard assessments and mapping for alluvial fans and integrate the study deliverables into the broader TRW risk management initiative. Climate-adjusted frequency-magnitude relationship was developed using the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC) streamflow simulations to inform the climate-adjustment.
